The Way Here

The Way Here

Fely Campo, born in Salamanca in 1959, when he was only 13 years old, he put himself in front of a needle and a thimble for the first time. She became passionate about the world of fashion, dressing herself, as a way to get out of her great shyness, discovering that through dresses she could overcome it, forming a barrier between the world and her reality. Years in which the first group of followers began to emerge to dress. What began as a game little by little became an obsession to give volume to his ideas in the form of fabric to dress the woman’s body.

“What I want to convey with my dresses is a feeling and a passion for what is my job and my profession: fashion…”

“…the manipulation of fabrics, their feel, their volume and their behavior when you work with them, mix them and shape them; to finally come to life when a woman puts on a dress, walks in it, moves in it , you feel with it, you breathe with it, you live with it, this is something magical.”

It currently has two permanent Showrooms in Milan (Italy) and London (United Kingdom); in which he presents his collections annually. Its collections are marketed in countries such as Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Norway, Panama, the United States, and Russia. Since 2021, its creations have had a presence on the Asian continent, as its points of sale recently included a prestigious bridal store in China.

This audiovisual piece was produced by Jabuba Films in 2018 and was part of an audiovisual exhibition for Fely Campo.
